These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Townsend Mercantile Co. Charity Auction (tmco-auction.limestonetg.com), a service built and operated by Limestone Technology Group on behalf of Townsend Mercantile Co. Text messages and emails sent as part of this auction are sent by Limestone Technology Group.
The auction
The Townsend Mercantile Co. Charity Auction offers five identical items, auctioned simultaneously with a shared start and end time. 100% of the proceeds from each item are donated to a charity selected by that item's winning bidder from our approved list of local schools and nonprofits.
Registration
Anyone may view the auction without registering. To place a bid, you must register with your name, email address, and phone number, and verify your email (and, where enabled, your phone number) via a one-time code. By registering, you consent to be contacted at the email address and phone number you provide for purposes related to the auction, including bid notifications and, if you win, arranging payment and fulfillment.
Bidding
Bids are placed in whole-dollar amounts and must exceed the current highest bid on that item. All bids are binding offers to purchase at the amount bid. The auction closes at a fixed time announced on the site; bids are not accepted after that time, and there is no extension for late bids.
Winners
The highest bidder on each item at the close of the auction is the winner. Winners will be contacted using the email and phone number provided at registration to arrange payment, fulfillment, and to confirm their choice of charity from the approved list. Winning bidders are expected to complete payment in a timely manner.
Privacy
Your registration information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Only your bidder number is displayed on public pages.
Changes
We may update these terms or the auction schedule as needed; material changes will be reflected on this page and the auction site.
